MIKE CABLE

Coach Cable is entering his 10th season coaching football. He is currently teaching PE and is the Head Coach at the Liberty High School in Brentwood. During his first season as Head Coach, he guided the team to an 8-4 record. He is now entering his 2nd year at Liberty and hoes to continue building on his character driven approach in leading his program to achieve on the field, in the classroom, and in life. Before coming to Liberty, Coach Cable spent four years as the Head Coach at prospect High School in Saratoga where he led the team to its 2nd League Championship title in school history, Coach Cable is married, has 2 daughters, and loves being part of the Brentwood community. 

Dave REINDERS

Coach Reinders is entering his 27th season coaching, 25 of those years as an Offensive Line Coach. Coach Reinders started his coaching career in 1991, at his alma mater, Mission Viejo High School. From Mission Viejo, he left coaching to attend Azusa Pacific University, where he played two years for the Cougars. After earning his degree in Social Science, he started teaching and coaching at Western Christian High School (97/98). In 1999, Dave moved to Fontana High School for one year. In 2000, he moved from Southern California to Liberty High School as the JV Head Coach. From 2001 to 2005 he was Liberty’s Varsity Offensive Line Coach and Offensive Coordinator. In 2006, Coach Reinders became Liberty’s Head Football Coach, for just one year. 

In 2007, Coach Reinders moved to Los Medanos College as their Offensive Line Coach. Dave coached at LMC for 12 seasons, till 2019. In 2019, Coach Reinders returned to Liberty as the Freshman Line Coach and program Academic Support Coach. In 2020, Coach Reinders was forced to take a couple years away from coaching for health reasons. Coach Reinders returned to the sideline as Liberty’s Offensive Line Coach, and Academic Support Coach. 

In 2003, Coach Reinders helped co-found Linemen Inc, a skill camp for High School Linemen. For 11 years, he helped facilitate and build the skills for close to 3,000 High School Linemen all over the country. Coach Reinders  and Linemen Inc helped develop players like Joel Bitonio (Cleveland Browns) and Super Bowl Champion Kansas City Chief Mitchell Schwartz.  

How our CAMP works

The 2023 Youth Football Camp is designed to teach the fundamentals of football to young perspective football players. This camp will be two days long and will consist of offensive and defensive individual position techniques and fundamentals.
Our camp participants will be taught the offensive and defensive techniques we utilize here at Liberty High School. Campers will be tutored by current Liberty High School players and Coaching staff. SPARQ (Speed-Power-Agility- Reactions-Quickness) training will also be conducted as to help arm our athletes with the tools they need in becoming the complete athlete.

Each camp participant will receive a Camp t-shirt.

Along with football, this camp with stress the importance of academics, character, dedication, and teamwork.
